I honestly cannot imagine my birthing experience without Clare.  The moment I met Clare at 7am when I was hovered over the toilet, she made a joke and immediately she made me feel so comfortable. 

Throughout the birthing process, Clare continued to hold my hand, literally, through it all. She was reassuring if I felt nervous, motivational when I needed to push, and encouraging. She talked me through everything that was happening and all that I needed to do. 

Clare knew my love language of words of affirmation and totally validated me through it all. I really felt like I had one of my friends with me in the delivery room.  She truly got to know my husband and me.

While I was pushing, it was Clare that I was looking at, and listening to… not my husband. I fully trusted Clare to help me, encourage me, and get me through the most emotional, scary, and amazing time in my life. 

I am just so beyond grateful that Clare was our nurse that day.  I had such a beautiful, and dare I say, easy experience because of her.  We are her biggest fan and if I have another baby, I need Clare to be our nurse!
