We are blessed at Elmhurst College in that we have so many wonderful professors that model the importance of excellent nursing care. They each inspire us to be the best professional nurses we can be. The recipient of this year's DAISY award is no exception. Dr. Zibricky takes time to listen to students and mentors and coaches them through the nursing program while modeling the importance of service to the community at large. Dr. Zibricky?s research and service explores the impact of social justice on health. Her work with ELSA and study abroad helps her students to see the ?vastness? of nursing. Dr. Zibricky truly demonstrates what it means to be a part of a collaborative team while inspiring positive change in not only her life, but in the lives of her students.
