Claire Zukin, RN
Claire was our day-shift nurse for several days and was incredibly supportive, empathetic, knowledgeable, and professional, guiding us through the process and being a trusted sounding board with each new development. She was incredibly attentive to the health, safety, and comfort of both mom and baby, and when the tough moments came, she was able to comfort and console my wife better than anyone. By the time it was advised that we move to a C-section, Claire brought all the same energy, empathy, and attention to supporting and advising my wife through this most challenging moment. She organized the transition to surgery quickly and efficiently, and then stayed after her shift to ensure a smooth transfer to the night team and good continuity of care. I couldn’t be more grateful to Claire for taking such great care of the love of my life and for helping us meet the newest member of our family!
