Not only is he compassionate, but he also has a great bedside manner, and he was like the only person who could put an IV in my mom with minimal pain and bruising.
Everyone on 14 (the step-down/ICU unit) was great (really GREAT, thank you!) but Christopher was just exceptional.
My mom was so uncomfortable after her TAVR and he was patient and super responsive to her needs despite being massively busy.
Even little things like wanting to stand up for a minute or two, or getting another pillow.
The first bed she was in wasn’t inflating properly, and he got her a new bed. He ran down to the first floor for it!
Add to this his great competence and you just get an exceptional nurse.

He made sure all the consults she needed were followed up on, he was on top of all medical issues, and is just a lovely human being too.
If Christopher becomes an NP and opens a family medical practice, I want to go to that practice. In the meantime, NYU ICU is lucky to have him!
