Christina was a nurse in the ER the day I was admitted into the hospital with a bowel obstruction. One of the other staff members had inserted an NG tube and left me sitting at the edge of the bed. Christina came in, helped me clean up, helped me lie down and try to get comfortable, and gave me the call button to use if I needed her.

It turns out I did when the tube pumping out my stomach started leaking all over me. Christina came in, helped me get clean, and cleaned up the bed. She never complained and was so tender and compassionate towards me. Her shift ended at 10, but because the ER was so busy, she remained to help. She kept checking on me and updating me on what was going on. She was still there when I was taken up to my room after 2 am the next morning. Christina went above and beyond and truly is one of your extraordinary staff here at Orange Coast Memorial.
