Christie was the first nurse who greeted us in the surgical waiting room. She took us to your surgery prep suite and explained, in detail, how she was going to prep me for my knee surgery. She made me feel comfortable and safe. Her actions were slow and deliberate and did not rush me through this process. I asked Christie where she was from and discovered that she was a "hometown" nurse, and that made me feel more relaxed. We hit it off, and I knew I was in good hands for my knee surgery at Mercy Perryville.
