I appreciate Chloe very much and could feel her deep compassion for her patients. She demonstrated the true values of a nurse.
My sister was brought back to the ER after having surgery 2 weeks prior. She was in severe pain and confused. After being in the ER for 7 hours, we were told she would be admitted, and I had been with her the entire time. Chloe came in as the night nurse, and she immediately came into the room after getting her report. She explained everything that was going on and what was going to happen after the doctor left.
Chloe went straight to work on my sister after getting a report from the surgeon and receiving his orders. She made my sister and me feel better about the admission and her pain. She informed us that she would be staying in the ER until a bed was available. I didn't want to leave her; Chloe started taking care of her and treated us as if we were family. Chloe explained and showed concern that she would take good care of my sister and me as well. Chloe expressed that I could go home, and she would contact me with updates. Chloe did exactly what she said. I was called and informed that she did all the doctor's orders, and my sister was resting well after she cleaned and dressed her wounds. My sister was transferred out at 3:30 am, and Chloe called me to inform me that she was moving her and to rest because she was okay and being transferred to good nursing care. I appreciate Chloe very much and could feel her deep compassion for her patients. She demonstrated the true values of a nurse.
