1st Nomination
Dear Cheyenne,

We cannot put into words what an amazing person and health care provider you are. From the moment that you became A's nurse, you showed us kindness, empathy, and compassion during the most emotional time in our lives. We could not have known how the baby's birth and C’s death would coincide, but your care enabled A to be together with the baby and C as a family before C passed.

C would have been very grateful for all that you did to help her, as he loved her very much. Thank you, too, for helping to create a remembrance casting; it took so much time (and materials), and we want you to know that we will always treasure it.

Please know that you have made a great difference in helping A (and all of us) through this most difficult time, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 


2nd Nomination:
We would like to recognize all of the health care workers on the Labor and Delivery floor and in the Nursery. During the most emotional time in our lives, your staff showed immense compassion and kindness to A and her baby son as they were transferred to Lankenau from Pennsylvania Hospital to say goodbye to A’s husband, C, who was in the ICU at Lankenau. Lankenau is fortunate to have these incredible people and health care workers.
