My husband was at Baptist Health LR for 4 weeks. During that time, she not only showed strong nursing skills while treating my husband, but also took time to spend with him and encourage him. Her kindness and compassion made our stay at Baptist less traumatic for both of us. Great nursing skills are important, but for great nurses, nursing goes beyond that. While providing excellent care for my husband, Cheryl also took the time to connect with me. She let me know she cared about my husband and all we had been through.
