Charmelle is an outstanding nurse and an invaluable member of Angels of Care. Over the past few months, Charmelle has worked with a client undergoing significant life changes. Initially, the client lived with her mother, who had been battling cancer for an extended period. As the mother’s health deteriorated, the client moved in with her father full-time. Despite the potential inconvenience of the longer commute, Charmelle readily agreed to continue providing care, prioritizing what was best for the client.

Charmelle has been a steadfast and dependable presence for the father as he adjusts to the role of sole caregiver. She has not only provided essential medical care but has also offered invaluable training to the father, including skills such as tracheostomy tube changes. On one occasion, when the father and another nurse struggled to replace a trach, Charmelle was immediately contacted. She calmly guided the father through the situation, instructed him to call 911, and rushed to their aid to ensure the client’s safety.

Following the mother's passing from cancer, Charmelle has continued to support the family, offering both exceptional nursing care and compassionate emotional support. Her dedication and kindness have made a profound difference during this challenging time, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her patients and their families.
