Charlotte consistently works towards what is best for the patient and the floor.
Charlotte Van Zuylen is an extraordinary nurse. She has been an RN on the 4SE night shift since 1994. She remains present and engaged in patient care and is an excellent bedside and charge nurse, and has become an expert in Med Surg nursing, taking care of the most seriously ill patients. She is calm and professional at the bedside, exhibiting a presence of trust and knowledge to her patients. She is self directed, has great communication skills and is always able to get her message across.
Charlotte consistently works towards what is best for the patient and the floor. She shows compassion towards her patients and co-workers. Her peers appreciate the knowledge, reassurance, and support she provides. One of Charlotte’s most important attributes is how she always takes her leadership decisions back to what is best for the patient. The patients and her peers recognize this.
