Passion for Nursing
Chanel has been a nurse since 2014, but honestly, it feels like she's been doing this way longer. She’s one of those people who was just meant to be a nurse. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it shows in the way she talks about her patients and takes pride in her work. Nursing isn’t just her job, it’s who she is. Her energy, her dedication, and the way she carries herself; it’s all in that infectious smile of hers.
Problem Solving
She's definitely the one you want around when things get hectic. Chanel is calm, smart, and quick on her feet. She would even bring a little humor to ease the panic mode. I've seen her handle situations with so much confidence and grace, and if she doesn't know something, she's not afraid to ask or learn. She's also great at helping others work through things without making you feel less than.
Community Service
Even outside of work, Chanel is the kind of person who is always doing for others. She gives back in quiet ways, whether it's offering support, helping out where she can, or just being someone people can lean on. She was definitely there for me if I needed her.
Respect for Patients and Families
One thing I've always loved about her is how she treats people. She is so respectful and kind to everyone: patients, families, coworkers. She works hard and makes the rest of us want to be better just by how she carries herself. She lifts people up, shares what she knows, and never makes you feel alone on the floor.
