On Sunday, July 13th, our facility faced an unexpected challenge when our EMAR system went offline, creating a situation that could have easily caused confusion, delays, and frustration among staff and residents.

As I made my way through the units to offer support, I was immediately struck by Celie’s presence on 3S. Despite the disruption, Celie remained calm, collected, and in full control of her environment. She had already assessed the situation, organized her team, and ensured that resident care continued seamlessly.

Her ability to lead with clarity and composure during uncertain times is a testament to her clinical excellence. She knew exactly what needed to be done and took initiative without hesitation.

What stood out even more was Celie’s compassion. She didn’t just manage tasks; she managed emotions. She checked in with her fellow nurses, reassured CNAs, and comforted residents who were understandably anxious about the disruption.

Celie consistently goes beyond her duties. Since joining our team, she has brought exceptional skill, deep clinical knowledge, and unwavering positivity to 3S. She’s not only a leader but also a teammate who lifts others up, always ready to offer help or encouragement.
