Every day in the emergency department is fast-paced and demanding, but having a colleague who can manage stress, coordinate patient flow, and bring order to the chaos makes all the difference. This past Mother’s Day, Cecilia served as the Emergency Department's Flow Coordinator and performed exceptionally well. She maintained constant oversight of patient care, managed incoming ambulance arrivals, and efficiently facilitated bed placements and patient transfers to inpatient units. Throughout her shift, Cecilia remained actively engaged—always on her feet, consistently assisting patients, and providing support to fellow nurses. Her leadership and dedication contributed greatly to a smooth and efficient shift.
