Catherine Zhao, BSN

Catherine is thoughtful, dedicated, and curious. We worked together for her Honors LEAD scholars program and she blew me away with her clear understanding as to why nursing matters. She chose a topic to benefit community members and diligently worked her way through the challenges of working during a pandemic. She crafted a project that was respectful and humble. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to work with Catherine—it was my honor to be her mentor and it reminded me of what a gift it is to work with BSN students.
