Getting admitted can be isolating, unfamiliar, and even scary. It’s difficult to feel alone with Catherine as your nurse.
Catherine was a constant figure of light and support during my admittance to Monument. From the moment I arrived, she ensured the level of care I received was above standard and comfortable.

Catherine was constantly checked on not only me, but my family members as well. She informed us of services available to us, brought blankets and water without us having to ask. We hardly had a question or concern before she was already taking care of it!

She genuinely made us feel comfort and peace during an overwhelming time. When the doctors delivered the news that I would need further treatment, I was almost inconsolable. My family members were not with me at that moment, yet I did not feel alone.

She came into my room (without me calling) and took the time to listen to me and speak to me. Her words were encouraging, kind, and gave me dignity in a moment where I felt I had none. If it were not for her gentle words, my new journey in life would have been much harder to accept. Getting admitted can be isolating, unfamiliar, and even scary. It’s difficult to feel alone with Catherine as your nurse.

Catherine is transparent and so obviously in your corner. She is doing what they meant to in life. I believe she not only exemplifies the qualities of being an outstanding nurse but also deserves to be recognized for it. Thank you!
