Cathy has a heart of gold when it comes to her colleagues and her patients. She has the special ability to build strong relationships with her colleagues. She is the source of our information, and she is willing to share her knowledge with all. She guides all our new staff and can shape and mold them into competent, independent PD nurses. Cathy is a good and confident advocate for her PD patients, as she is not afraid to voice her concerns to the relevant multidisciplinary team members. Her first priority is patient satisfaction and improving the overall quality of life of our PD patients. She always prioritizes our patients’ needs and will do everything she can to make them feel at ease. Our specialty is empowering our patients with the information and skills to perform their own dialysis at home, which Cathy is assisting with. Cathy is a real asset to our unit's success.
