Cassidy was my acute-care RN during two days of my recent hospitalization. She demonstrated very compassionate care with me. I am an elderly patient, and Cassidy went above and beyond all normal duty to make sure I was always comfortable during my hospital stay, asking me about my pain level, anything I needed, taking vital signs and blood/urine samples as scheduled for all my testing, and checking the condition of swelling in my legs. She also helped me place my meal orders when I had difficulty doing so on my own. Cassidy also demonstrated her commitment to excellence, excellent service, and her medical expertise by providing my family and me with the best updates and information about my health status from my chart and her direct observations that I've ever experienced anywhere! She explained my test results in an easy-to-understand manner, very comprehensive yet concise. She kept us informed about everything scheduled for me during my stay - tests, doctor visits, PT, and OT therapy visits. She answered every question my family and I had, and reviewed responses from other care team members with me. She was reachable by phone and spent an appropriate amount of time when my family called to inquire about my health or ask questions on several occasions during my stay. Overall, Cassidy provided absolutely the best RN care I've ever received during a hospital stay.
