While working with Cassie one shift we had a very agitated and unkempt patient come in. The patient had not bathed in several days and was very dirty and hungry. Cassie went above and beyond to provide this patient with excellent care.
Cassie took the time to give this patient a shower and had his clothes washed by Laundry. She made sure this patient had several meals, as he had been in the department for multiple hours. Despite this patient being rather difficult Cassie kept a positive attitude and made sure this patient had excellent care.
It is because of all the reasons I have mentioned above, along with all of Cassie's personal sacrifices to become a professional Registered Nurse, who is compassionate, empathetic, diligent, action-oriented, and a person of strong healing faith, that I have nominated Cassandra.
