The staff took my dad to a room, placed the tube, and sedated him. Once the procedure was completed, we were able to go back and meet Carson Stockham. She explained that the tube was helping relieve his breathing struggles and that, hopefully, his numbers would begin to improve.

Carson is truly an extraordinary person. She showed genuine empathy and had a way of immediately making us feel comfortable. When my husband stepped out with us briefly, my dad coded. As we were walking back, I saw the lights flashing and heard the alarms. I ran to the door, and what I witnessed made it clear how deeply your staff cares about their patients—there were so many people working together to save my dad’s life. I was terrified, yet incredibly comforted at the same time.

The doctor came in and told us they had regained his pulse. When I asked if I could see him, Carson remained informative and compassionate as our family gathered around my dad, believing it might be the last time we saw him. The medication they administered reset his numbers, and Carson let us know she was working to get him transferred to the ICU.

My dad is here today because of God and your incredible staff. Carson made an unbearable situation more manageable, and even came to visit him today in the ICU. He is now talking, breathing on his own, and improving every day.
