Carrie Derse, BSN MS CEN

I went to the ED both evenings with extremely high BP, headache, nausea, and vomiting. Carrie was so attentive, sympathetic, and caring. She explained everything she was doing and why and made sure I was comfortable. The second night I went in, she saw me as they wheeled me in and asked to be assigned to me. As before, she was concerned and sympathetic that I was back the next day. She made me feel safe and personally cared for at a time that I was very miserable. She is an awesome nurse, not only skilled in routine procedures, but also in providing a sense of true caring for her patients, which is very important in an emergency setting. I was an RN and a geriatric nurse practitioner, so I have knowledge and experience in healthcare.
