Dr. Carrie Ann Matyac is an outstanding nursing educator who is dedicated to ensuring her students have the best opportunities to learn.
Dr. Carrie Ann Matyac is an outstanding nursing educator who is dedicated to ensuring her students have the best opportunities to learn. As well as teaching in the graduate nursing program, every January for 3 weeks ,Dr. Matyac leads a group of students to Oaxaca, Mexico, for a study away program focused on the Social Determinants of Health:
Dr. Matyac was my chair for my project, professor for FNP courses, and my advisor. She does care about her students and wants us to succeed, and she will make sure she has time to meet with us. She will meet with us at our house or even delay leaving the WIN conference to make sure we have all our questions or concerns answered.

Dr. Matyac goes above and beyond to make sure her students feel supported. She even met with me last minute to support me with changes I had to make to a presentation and provide support, feedback, and reassurance.
