I had been out of surgery for a few days, and I was having several health issues recovering. Labs were indicating a rise in my white blood count. I have had a hernia mesh repair in the past and now just having a colectomy, the mesh was a major factor during the surgery and healing. Some tests and immediate action needed to be taken. My doctor and my nurse didn't want me to have to go through the prep for a C-scan, but I was out of options to improve my health.

Carolyn made sure I would be safe by correctly giving me my prep and making sure all the key components and people were on standby because this was life and death, no ifs, ands, or buts. She made me feel safe, even if the outcome was death, I feel she would be the one person who gave 100% for me to live. She is the best darn Nurse I've ever met. She is my hero!
