My wife and I assure you that all the many nurses we encountered during our 2-week stay were amazing. However, one nurse stood out and far exceeded our expectations for exceptional care!

Caroline Roland absolutely amazed us. She is capable of following a patient like me like a hawk. How she knew when I had a question, needed help, or was just plain distraught is beyond my comprehension. Before I would even think of using the help button, I would look up, and there was Caroline standing at my door.

She had all the answers to the questions before I even asked them. She knew what procedures were about to occur and consistently explained what would happen and why. She exhibited exceptional knowledge from her many years of nursing, as well as extreme compassion and patience. She was always attentive and took the time to explain and discuss my concerns in a way I could clearly understand. She knew I was confused and unaware of my needs and instructions.

In our opinion, Caroline is well deserving of the DAISY Award for her outstanding compassion, which she provided far beyond what’s expected. In addition, we enjoyed her company and conversations.
