Carol Borrelli, BSN, RN

I would like to nominate Carol Borrelli for a DASIY nomination. My friend and I were sitting on her porch when we heard this loud bang. We originally thought it was a car accident by the way that it sounded, but it turned out to be a young woman who got hit. As I ran to the scene, my friend called 911, and along came Carol. Thank goodness for Carol. She sprang into nurse mode – checking vitals, asking for a blanket or a towel to preserve the victim’s dignity. Although we all unknowingly knew what the outcome would be, Carol stayed on the scene. She provided caring hugs and kind words. I know this kind of compassion will stay with the witnesses to this horrific accident. Thank you so much, Carol – I, as well as others, appreciate your compassion and empathic nature during such a terrible evening.
