I came into triage worried about decreased fetal movement, and Carly was the nurse who took care of me. From the moment she introduced herself, she made me feel calm and comfortable. I was anxious and unsure if something was wrong, but her tone, patience, and clear explanations immediately helped me breathe a little easier.

Carly not only cared for me medically but also for my family. She spoke to my husband and daughter kindly, involved them in the experience, and made sure they felt included rather than just waiting in the room. My daughter was curious and talkative, and Carly interacted with her in the sweetest way, especially since it was my daughter’s birthday! That meant so much to me as a mom.

As soon as Carly began monitoring the baby, our little girl started moving and kicking as if nothing were ever wrong. Even though I ended up being perfectly fine, Carly never made me feel silly for coming in. She reassured me that I made the right decision and that my baby’s health always comes first. That reassurance stayed with me more than the monitor reading ever could.
