A patient called to set up ATB infusions at IU Jay. She had been discharged from Adams Memorial earlier that day and wanted to do her outpatient infusions at Jay. As we were discussing the situation, this nurse overheard us and asked us to provide a name and number, and she would look into the matter. She took the time to set up this patient's infusion so that she could start her ATB infusion on Sunday and not miss a day. I believe she went above and beyond her duties to obtain all the necessary information to set this patient up for her infusions here at Jay. She is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our patients receive the treatment and care they need.
