Callie Wright, BSN, RN

During the most devastating moment of our lives, the loss of our son, Callie Wright became our anchor in the storm. In a time filled with unimaginable pain, she showed us what true nursing care means. She sat with me when words were hard to find, and held space for my grief with compassion and patience. Her presence alone brought comfort. She did not just care for us clinically; she cared for us as human beings who were deeply hurting. She honored our son, honored our family, and supported us in ways that will stay with us forever. In our darkest hours, she showed empathy, strength, and an incredible depth of kindness that went far beyond her role.

When everything else felt absolutely unbearable, Callie provided us with comfort, dignity, and a sense of safety. It is truly hard to find words for what Callie did for my little family, and I hope she knows it could never be accurately described, measured, or repaid. Callie is everything a nurse should be and so much more. We are eternally grateful that our paths crossed, even under these circumstances.
