I would like to nominate Caitlin McClain for the DAISY Award in recognition of her dedication, compassion, and exceptional care. She consistently goes above and beyond for both patients and staff, willingly taking on any shift needed—even if it means sacrificing time with her family on holidays and special occasions. Caitlin is deeply committed to her work and takes great pride in serving our hospital.

She was my OB nurse, and despite not having worked in OB for some time, she provided outstanding care. Throughout my labor, Caitlin supported and empowered me, helping me stay committed to my birth plan for a natural delivery. Her encouragement, expertise, and support made all the difference. She also ensured that my husband and I had everything we needed and continued to provide excellent care during my postpartum recovery.

Caitlin is not only a skilled and knowledgeable nurse but also a kind-hearted and selfless caregiver. When I think of a DAISY Award Honoree, Caitlin is the first person who comes to mind.
