My brother was a patient on 5E for an extended period of time. He can be difficult to handle at times. There was one nurse who would always go above the others in helping him.
Whether it be helping make phone calls since my brother was almost paralyzed, helping him use the handheld massager to try to massage his back and legs, bringing him some comfort, joking with him and keeping his spirits up, and making him feel better by trying to keep him laughing. Bryce even took time out of his day to put him on a stretcher and roll him outside to get some fresh air since he hadn’t been outside in a long time. He called me and was so happy to be outside finally.
We are thankful for Bryce and his compassion and hard work as he tried to feel better in his last days.
