I could not have survived this admission mentally or physically without Bryant.
Bryant has been my biggest advocate throughout this two-week admission. He has the most genuine compassion, more than I have seen from any nurse in the 15 years I have been dealing with these progressive diseases. He has spoken for me when I was unable; he has held my hand when I needed support; he has hugged me when the world felt like it was falling apart – there was not a single moment he let me suffer. One day, he was my roommate's nurse. I had gotten to a point in my pain where I was unable to speak. All I could do was scream and cry and shake. Bryant ran down the hall to find my nurse to get my meds from the pharmacy. In the meantime, he ran back, told me not to move, and administered the rest of my meds until my nurse came back in. I could not have survived this admission mentally or physically without Bryant. It is beyond clear that he became a nurse for all the right reasons and that no matter what is going on, he will always show up 110% for his patients.
