Brooke Wilson is the embodiment of the grizzly bear momma. To know her is to know that she loves and protects her family fiercely. To know Brooke at work in the charge role is to be a part of that family that she will go to bat for.

She runs the unit efficiently and with purpose. I have seen her jump in to help staff, patients, and patient family members. She is the strongest leader this unit has been lucky to know. I cannot pinpoint one example because the examples occur so frequently. She is an advocate for all under her care. I have witnessed her call countless family members to get information on a patient, arrange pickup, or help obtain comfort items the patient requires.
