My rainbow baby was born at 24.5 weeks. My husband and I were scared. We didn't know what his fate was going to be. S started off at the Bay Area NICU. Everything was fine. Until it wasn't; he was transferred to Driscoll.

I believe I met you once he was doing a little better. When he was moved to the 5th floor. You always took great care of him. Always complimented his strength. But you didn't just take care of him. You took care of us. You'd always tell us how good we were doing. You would praise me for my breastfeeding journey. But you also let us know that you recently had your rainbow baby as well. You knew what our son meant to us because you've experienced loss as well. I just want you to know that you are such an amazing nurse. I hope that you feel fulfilled. I hope you're enjoying your rainbow baby. Our son is thriving, and it has a lot to do with the amazing nurses at Driscoll, but you are one who definitely stuck out. Thank you for caring. Thank you for loving your job. Thank you for loving our babies.
