She was very kind, thoughtful, considerate, and one of the most helpful healthcare workers I've ever met.
She was incredibly kind and prompt with pain medications or anything else I needed. She seemed to really care about my comfort and happiness. She was very gentle when checking things and was very considerate of my pain and any discomfort I might experience. I was there for six days, and she stood out as one of the best nurses I had interacted with. I had surgery to remove my wisdom teeth a few weeks before entering the hospital for lung issues, and when I mentioned that it would be helpful to have a syringe I could fill with water to flush out the wisdom teeth holes, not only did she look all over the place for the most ideal syringe, she also brought sterile water and cups for me to spit into rather than going through the pain to get to the bathroom. Then, she offered to help me and flush them out for me. She spent a solid 20 minutes flushing out the wisdom teeth holes, even getting sprayed in the face with water. She didn't give up until all particle was flushed out. The entire time, she maintained an upbeat and happy demeanor, making me and my parents laugh multiple times. She was very kind, thoughtful, considerate, and one of the most helpful healthcare workers I've ever met. I've met a few of them due to my health issues. I saw the poster on the wall about this award, and immediately, I had my parents scan the QR code so I could write about her. I believe she is extremely deserving of the DAISY Award and is an excellent nurse.
