I will never forget Brooke's kindness. Her impact will stay with me forever.
We lost our daughter at 16 weeks of gestation and had to go to the hospital to deliver her. We were devastated and had no idea what to expect at the hospital. Right when we checked in, Brooke knew our situation, gave me a hug, and let me cry. She told me how sorry she is and that I don't have to say it's okay.

Throughout my labor, Brooke did everything she could to ensure my husband and I were comfortable. She provided so many resources to us for our situation and got us in touch with a company that paid for our daughter's cremation and urn. Once our daughter was born, Brooke treated her with so much respect. She was so gentle with her and always made sure she was near us. I'd hear her call our daughter sweet names and talk to her like she was alive. It meant the world to me. She also told us we can stay at the hospital as long as we need and take as much time as we want with our daughter. We never felt rushed or anything like that.

Brooke also spent hours behind the scenes making phone calls, coordinating with the funeral home, and many other tasks I'm sure we aren't even aware of. Once it was time to leave, Brooke walked us out to our car but had another nurse come and sit with our daughter, so she wasn't alone. At the car, Brooke hugged me, and we both cried. I will never forget Brooke's kindness. Her impact will stay with me forever.
