Brooka Thomsen-Martin, RN

Brooka is the very definition of a utility player. Brooka started the year wanting to learn and grow in the facility, and instead of just talking about it, she has done everything she can to make it happen. She has gone out of her "normal" and cross-trained to multiple units whenever she sees a need, stepping up to assist. She has easily flexed, sometimes at the last minute, to change what she thought she would be doing that day to meet the needs of the facility and individual patients. This is huge during staffing crunches and when conditions change. She is being nominated for a DAISY not only for her adaptability, but also for her willingness to do so with a smile and her commitment to caring for all patients across the organization.
