Brittany Sotack is a Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology Suite at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. Before becoming a nurse, Ms. Sotack spent 11 years in Pre-Hospital care as a Paramedic and now as a Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse. They obtained their Paramedic Certification and Nursing Degree at Lackawanna College. Ms. Sotack began working at Geisinger in July of 2024, choosing this hospital because it is their local healthcare facility. Specifically, they chose Geisinger Wyoming Valley for its renowned Heart Hospital. As a self-proclaimed cardiac nerd, it made perfect sense for her to start her nursing career here.

The best part of working at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in the Electrophysiology Suite has undoubtedly been their coworkers. They have become like another family to Brittany, providing support and camaraderie that has shaped them into the nurse they are today. Their influence and friendships are something Ms. Sotack will carry with them throughout their entire career.
