My 3-year-old son is an oncology patient receiving care at ECU Health. While all the nurses are amazing, we have two who have gone above and beyond for our son. This has made a huge impact on his treatment and how he does when having to go for chemo or procedures. For instance, he was not feeling well and had to have his port be recessed after a week's stay. Brittany came to his rescue, as he is most comfortable with her handling his port access. She surprised him with his favorite foods when he wouldn’t eat anything else in the hospital and even got him a birthday cake during chemo on his birthday. We are extra thankful for the ECU health nurses.
