She also made it possible for me to capture precious memories, like announcement photos of my son and taking beautiful pictures of me giving him his first bath.
Brianne's compassion, dedication, and care made an unforgettable impact on my family during one of the most vulnerable times in our lives. I had a scheduled C-section on October 30, and it did not go as planned; it was very traumatic. I hemorrhaged twice, and my son got fluid in his lungs. He was sent to the NICU immediately, and I went to my own recovery, where I was not able to see him for almost 12 hours.
I missed out on bonding with my son for the first 12 hours of his life. Being away from my son and alone postpartum (my husband stayed with my son) was very hard emotionally for me. It was hard to see my son hooked up to all the machines and monitors. Between my C-section experience and my son being in the NICU, my mental health was in a very low state. Having Brianne as my son's nurse helped me tremendously.
Brianne went above and beyond in every way. She helped me with breastfeeding, patiently teaching me and encouraging me during moments of uncertainty. She also made it possible for me to capture precious memories, like announcement photos of my son and taking beautiful pictures of me giving him his first bath. These are moments I will treasure forever.
When I was discharged before my son, Brianne ensured I could stay close to him by helping to arrange bedding in the NICU. Her genuine care for my son's well-being and my own emotional needs as a mother truly set her apart. Brianne's dedication, kindness, and extraordinary attention to detail made a difficult time so much easier. She exemplifies everything a DAISY nurse is.
