I met Brianna the last few days my mom was in the ICU. I feel like she took the extra time to care for my mom while she was there. She took care of her like it was her own mom. She chatted with me and my dad about simple things to keep our minds off the bad things, which I appreciated. It was something to lighten the mood. She researched my mom’s religion (Buddhism) so she could understand it more. She taught us things that we didn’t even know. Nobody needed to do that, but out of respect, Brianna did. I appreciate everything that she did for my mom’s last few days on earth, and I believe she was in good hands because of her. She went the extra mile, and I am grateful to have had her as our nurse.
