I'll spare most of the details of the actual day, but by the time I met Briana after my emergency C-section, I was so comforted that she was my nurse. They were worried I wouldn't make it out of the procedure, and in my scariest moments, Briana was truly like a ray of light. I felt so safe with her, and there was never a time that I felt ignored or unheard.

Even when Briana wasn't assigned to my room, she would stop by to check on me. If I saw her in the hallway, she'd stop and talk to me like we had known each other for years. Briana is not only incredible at her job; she is genuinely one of the nicest and most personable staff members I encountered in some of my darkest days.
