I realize you have many other patients, so you may not remember my wonderful husband and me from a few weeks ago with respiratory failure. It hurts my heart to say my courageous guy didn't make it but praise God he is now totally healed and can breathe the glorious air of heaven, deeply and freely! Unfortunately, I haven't been emotionally or mentally ready to write notes of gratitude to those who touched our hearts and eased our journey during his illness. But, you have been on my mind and in my heart more often than you can imagine and I simply had to reach out to you before another day passes. Brian, you were a true gift to us during his hospitalization. You are an incredible nurse who showed us love and compassion while providing the best possible care to him. Your loving kindness and keen wit helped us weather a major storm with assurance and laughter. He and I felt an immediate bond with you and love for you and talked about you the remainder of his days-for real! We were blessed beyond measure to have found each other in this great big world and we thanked God daily for our love. Thank you for being a part of our last sweet days together. I will always remember, appreciate, and cherish our time with you. God bless you!
