I would like to nominate Brenda Randles, RN, for the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her extraordinary career, unwavering faith, and profound impact on patients, colleagues, and the nursing profession.
With 34 years of dedicated service at St. Mary’s, Brenda has devoted her career to caring for others and strengthening the teams around her. Throughout her many years as a nurse, she has served in multiple roles, including floor nurse, house supervisor, and, most notably, OR Circulator, where she has spent much of her career. In the operating room, she is truly indispensable—trusted, respected, and sought after by surgeons and coworkers alike.
Brenda is a natural mentor and leader whose guidance has shaped generations of nurses. She leads with quiet confidence, deep knowledge, and a steady presence that brings reassurance to both staff and patients. Her commitment to patient advocacy is unwavering, and she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure patients feel safe, heard, and cared for.
