Our nurse Brenda was so much a part of our family during our stay on the Oncology/Stem Cell Transplant Unit. Much of this is due to the compassionate, sincere care she provided my sister. My sister is dying of Leukemia and she also has liver failure. Brenda made my sister feel so at home and loved that it kept her feeling calm and safe the entire time. She was not scared when Brenda was caring for her. Each and every time we needed Brenda she was there for us. Brenda explained everything not just to my sister, but to the entire family. Brenda always made my sister comfortable and helped her in any way she could. We love her and know she is deserving of the DAISY Award.
