Breanna Geary was nominated by a patient who described her as “family” during a challenging 13-day hospital stay following back surgery.

When discharge complications arose, Breanna went the extra mile,on her own time, to resolve the issue and teach the patient’s husband how to use a manual IV, preventing another weekend in the hospital.

Her compassion, dedication, and commitment to patient care made a lasting difference and reflect the true spirit of the DAISY Award.
