RN BreAnn Adam was the duty nurse assigned to care for my brother at Milwaukee VA’s Intensive Care Unit, a 4-day period last December when he died.

During that time, BreAnn extended excellent care to my brother and showed remarkable compassion, care, and concern to his wife and family members who visited my brother, including his children and siblings. She provided comfort and care to his wife and left an excellent impression on all who met her, reflecting Milwaukee VA's renewed commitment to its Veterans.

In her service to my brother and his family, BreAnn truly demonstrated each of the I CARE principles. As such, her excellence should be recognized.
