Congratulations to Brandon Roush, Emergency Department, our August DAISY Award Honoree at Norton Hospital! What makes Brandon’s nomination especially meaningful is that it was submitted for the care he provided nearly a year earlier. During the DAISY presentation, the patient’s sister (also a Norton Healthcare employee) personally shared how Brandon’s compassion, clinical expertise, and advocacy helped her sister through one of the most difficult moments of her life. Nearly a year later, the impact of Brandon’s care remains unforgettable! His ability to make a fearful patient feel safe, heard, and cared for restored trust in healthcare and left a lasting impression on both the patient and her family.
