My grandfather had a stroke barely a year after a massive heart attack. Seeing my pops on a ventilator, not being able to breathe on his own, and not knowing where his neurological function would be was terrifying.

Brandon made that first night so much better. He didn't treat my Pops like he was a vegetable, but talked him through every stick, every poke, and every pinch. He explained every process and made the entire process so much easier.

I felt so much comfort in knowing that Brandon was bringing light, joy, and love for what he does into that little ICU room. His humor, patience, and kindness did not go unnoticed or unappreciated, and our family wanted to recognize him for that.
