Brandi Osborn, RN

Brandi is an amazing nurse and team member at CAMC Outpatient Specialty Clinic! Brandi cares deeply about all her patients and is dedicated to individualizing care. Brandi takes time to get to know her patients, their families, and caregivers. This is often seen reciprocated by patients bringing her baked goods, ornaments of appreciation and just a stop by to say ‘Hello’ visits from past patients. Brandi goes above and beyond for weekly/monthly recurring infusion patients, knowing their individual food, beverage, room temperature/lighting, and warm blanket preferences before they arrive and having all items on pre-order and ready to help them feel comfortable. Brandi is an Epic Super User and “guru” for all things Epic Therapy Plans, often being sought out to assist providers with therapy plan order entry into the EMR system. Brandi communicates openly, honestly and clearly with all members of the team; to schedulers, pharmacists, primary care providers, surgeons, emergency room team members, OR and Hospital nurses, and public health officials when needed. Brandi has brought calm and understanding to patients and families during uncertain times in their healthcare journeys. Brandi also brings a lot of laughs, smiles, dinner ideas, Elf on the Shelf creativity, and competitiveness to the Outpatient Nursing team, jumping in for a dartboard challenge on Nurses Week or playing in a golf tournament to raise funds for the CAMC Oncology department! Brandi has added a vast amount of healthcare knowledge to our rural hospital and is a key team member of our organization, through outpatient wound therapies, chemotherapy administration, 30+ specialty providers' satellite clinics, outpatient nursing treatments of infusions, injections, nuclear stress testing, just to name a few of the nursing jobs Brandi flawlessly manages day in and day out at CAMC! Brandi is rooted within our rural community and can often be seen on an evening walk/bike ride with her 2 sons and husband or on a sand volleyball court enjoying some exercise with friends! CAMC is blessed to have Brandi on our team and in our community!
