Bobye has been an instrumental leader during the GRMG transition to UPH. She has been a source of knowledge and strength during this transition and has done an excellent job of managing the culture of her team even during the most trying of times. Bobye exemplifies the FOCUS values and is always managing up her team. She went above and beyond many times, even when she was to be off on vacation, to ensure that things went smoothly and that patients would be taken care of during this move. In the short time I have known her, I have also seen her go above and beyond to provide exceptional experiences to the patients of the Wendt Center, providing them with treatment and showing them and their families compassion and empathy during some of their most trying times. Bobye is always willing to listen and advocate for her patients and her team. If there is something brought forward, she is always on the move to look at how we can better a process to improve the next patient's experience. Physicians and her team comment on her dedication and focus on patient care regularly! Bobye is an amazing nurse and is beyond deserving of the DAISY Award for her commitment to excellent care.
